Fundraiser For The Philippines

We hosted a valentines evening at Hoogah to raise relief funding for the Philippines.

On December 16, 2021, Super Typhoon category 5 Odette (Rai) hit the islands of the Philippines and they are in dire need of help, we fundraised along Isla Medical Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides medical support, supplies and education to under-served communities. Our fundraising efforts will go towards disaster relief on the island of Siargao, monitoring and coordinating with the onsite organisations and people that can help distribute emergency supplies needed and also support the island long term to help those on the Island rebuild and get their lives back.

The evening consisted of our very own Ray hosting the quiz throughout the evening as our kitchen team made up platters, Marine smashed out drinks on the bar and Laura hosting the floor. The quiz consisted of questions about the Philippines raising awareness to the country and reminding us why we gathered for the evening to raise the funds.

Marine and Laura had also collected some fantastic prizes for a raffle that was called at the end of the quiz.

Thank you to everyone who came along for the evening in support of the Philippines!
